At top they put lots of wrapped candy in a pile of hay and had the kids hunt of it.

Next we went to Lattin's Cider mill. They have a HUGE egg hunt every year. They said this year the "hid" 42,000 eggs. Well, Isabella got about 25 of them.

Next we went to Grandmas house for a hunt there. Isabella like this one the best. She was the only kid there and the eggs were actually more hidden then the other hunts. By the time we got home Isabella was exhausted. She was eating a PB&J but fell asleep before she was finished with it.

On Easter Sunday we went to church and Isabella got to wear her new Easter dress and hat. She looked great!! I am really excited for next year when the girls can wear matching dresses!

In all of the excitement of Easter morning Jacob absentmindedly gave Iyla a real dyed Easter egg. And what do you think she did with it? That's right... straight in the mouth.thankfully she is a real droller so by noon the blue was gone!

Here are pictures of the girls Easter baskets. They turned out really cute. That Easter Bunny is talented!!

This is Iyla's Basket!

And this is Bella's basket!!!!
That night I made dinner for my extended family. It was great. We had Ham, Funeral Potatoes, steamed artichokes, mixed veggies, jello and rolls.

Great fun was had by all and to top the night off we watched Jacob's stunning performance in Savior of the World from a stake play back in 2005. Oh and cupcakes!!
That food looks delicious! I bet it was fabulous. yum yum
ReplyDeleteSounds like so much fun. My easter was a little weird with being 2 kids less than normal. We really liked it though!
