Sunday night we had a pretty big windstorm. It was strong enough to blow trees down and re-arrange patio furniture. And as many of you know, the trees here in the pacific northwest are pretty huge so when trees are blowing down then you know the wind was strong! We lost power for about 16 hours! We went over to mom's house to enjoy her power and working oven! We finally took down her Christmas decorations and got some cooking done for her.
Explaining a power outage to a 3 year old is very entertaining. Isabella kept insisting that ALL of the light bulbs MUST be broken and I just needed to change them so we could see! She is so funny! We all survived the 65 to 70 mile an hour winds and are very excited for whatever else Mother nature has in store for us! (Snow maybe???)
